We believe that keeping the mind and body active and energized is an important part of a healthy lifestyle at any age. Activities that stimulate brain activity on a daily basis are particularly beneficial to those experiencing memory loss. Here are just a few examples of the activities and classes that we offer as a part of our memory care program.

- Sit and Fit Class – offers low impact exercise that improves core strength and helps to improve balance.

- Ring the Alligator - ring toss game that is moved up and down, side to side to focus the resident on movement in all directions while focusing on the hand eye coordination.
- Down-the-Clown – helps physical aggression to be released by throwing a bean bag at the clown, while focuses on hand eye coordination too.
- Laughter-cise – Wellness of the body and spirit.
Themed/Special Events
- Ladies Tea – ice tea, coffee, cup cakes, petit fours, tea sandwiches, piano music, poem reading and a flower for each lady in attendance.
- Fishing Derby for Men
- Summer Family Barbecue
- Alzheimer Walk – The residents walk one lap, have special honorary seating, hot dogs, cookies and music.
- Christmas and Holiday Parties
