We realize it is not uncommon for an individual to require more hands-on care than is typically provided in an assisted living or residential care facility. That’s why we developed Enhanced Care as an alternative to nursing home placement.

Enhanced care allows an individual to maintain his or her lifestyle, while feeling secure in the knowledge that someone will always be there to help. Farmington Square works to provide a sense of community with an emphasis on maximizing resident independence.

We provide personal care and support services that are tailored to meet your individual needs. Additionally, average ambulation distances of not more than 35 feet create an environment of independence and easy access to staff.

Higher than average direct-care staff-to-resident ratios allow our staff the time it takes to assist residents who require two-person transfers and higher levels of care.

The following services are included in your base rent:

• Care giving staff on-site 24 hours each day
• Three nutritious, home-style meals daily
• Twenty-four hour availability of beverages and snacks
• Weekly housekeeping and laundering of personal items
• Individual room temperature controls.
• All utilities, excluding personal telephone
• Cable TV in common areas and hook-up in each suite
• Coordination of transportation needs
• Full calendar of activities
• Routine apartment maintenance

Personal care and service needs
We utilize a system that ensures each resident is only charged for the services that are needed. We reassess at 30 days following admission, then again every 90 days or sooner, if needed.

Assistive services may include but are not limited to:

• Personal hygiene
• Dressing
• Toileting
• Ambulation
• Medication management
• Friendly reminders
